Pohela Boishakh celebrated both Bangladesh and West Bengal, also in Assam, Tripura of India and all around the world of Bengalee communities. It connects all ethnic Bengalees of religious and regional on April 14 of Gregorian calendar. Mughal Emperor Akbar was created Bengali Year when peasants used to pay their taxes. Present form of Pohela Boishakh celebrated some political significance & introduced in 1967 when Chhyanout organized celebration programs protest against Pakistan government. After independence in 1971, the festival became a symbol of the country’s nationalist movement as well as an integral part of the people’s cultural heritage in Bangladesh
